<image:caption>Tiana Birrell is a multimedia artist and curator from Massachusetts. She received her MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her MS in Environmental Humanities from the University of Utah. She currently resides in Salt Lake City where she investigates the copious amount of water and energy used by data centers in Salt Lake and Utah Valley. She uses photography, video, projections, installations, and performative lectures to consider these questions as well as bring invisible structures into visibility. Tiana was awarded the 2019 Digital Matters Lab Graduate Fellowship and the 2018 Environmental Humanities Summer Engagement Grant by the University of Utah. She was recently accepted into Utah Museum of Contemporary Art’s Artist in Residency program where she will continue her research on the relationship between data centers and water consumption.  tianabirrell.com</image:caption>

      <image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>Sarah Waldron Brinton is an interdisciplinary artist from California. In 2016, she received a BFA in studio art at Brigham Young University and her license in art education. After graduating, Sarah began teaching at a public school in Provo, where she advocated for contemporary art in the community both in continuing her practice and by teaching it in the classroom. She designed a unique course entitled Contemporary Art for her high school students, which highlighted artists in the 21st century and taught students foundational aspects of art creation in the plastic arts and new genres. Since leaving teaching to be a stay at home mom, Sarah has continued to develop her own work and contribute to the art community in Utah. She is currently focusing her practice on painting and photography, building a body of work which draws from her daily life as a mother. This work will be part of the Artist Residency in Motherhood, a residency founded by Lenka Clayton. Sarah’s work is a process of accepting and appreciating the mundane aspects of a very routine life. She celebrates the often-overlooked quotidian moments and objects she comes across as a mom, and considers her work a thank you note to the simple, suburban life she’s living—and the many ways in which it’s not as simple as it seems. Sarah and her husband own a small design company, Gladden Design, and she began working with PARC to create the collective’s brand system. She currently assists PARC with design, programming, and curation, and is grateful to be part of fostering strength in contemporary art here in Utah and beyond. swaldron.com</image:caption>

<image:caption>Aloe Corry is an artist working with painting, text, and printmaking. She obtained her BFA from Brigham Young University in 2016 and an MFA from the Northumbria University BxNU Institute in 2019. Much of her work explores narrative, repetition, and documentation: she gathers different components from the environments around her to build new stories, histories, and mythologies. Aloe’s most recent exhibitions include “Kunst am Strom,” “Radical Hope,” “While You Were Out” at 36 Gallery, “Until We Run Out of Roads” at Baltic 39, and “If You Can Stand the Glare” at Goldtapped Gallery. aloecorry.com</image:caption>

He received his BFA from Brigham Young University in Studio Art and his MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR. His work engages in issues of place and the connection between human and non-human nature through an examination of memory, myth, and both personal and imagined histories. He has participated in multiple residencies, including several Signal Fire wilderness artist retreats, and the NES artist residency in Skagaströnd, Iceland.  His work has been shown at Carnation Contemporary, Disjecta Contemporary Art Center, the Rio and Alice Galleries in Salt Lake City, Bountiful Davis Art Center, and PDX Contemporary Art. <image:title>Home - NATALIE O’HARRA</image:title>
<image:caption>We are thrilled to welcome the body of work “Pipe Dream Mystery ” by Natalie O’Harra in the pipe at parcpark.com. Natalie O’Harra makes art by experimenting and exploring videos, color, found objects, and images. She is inspired by mini golf courses, dollar stores, science museums, garden centers, futuristic science fiction movies, and construction zones. Natalie strives to make experiences for audiences that are familiar yet mysterious, comfortable yet confusing, physical yet digital. She wants viewers to feel playful and explorative while experiencing her work. She lives and makes art in Yucaipa, California, with her husband and two dogs. She earned an MFA in Art from University of Oregon and a BFA in Studio Art from Brigham Young University. About the show: “Hey! Have you seen this pipe over here? Wonder what’s inside… and if it has an end… and if we could make it to the end. You know, it kinda reminds me of this dream I once had… Want to check it out?”</image:caption>
